Two features that are praiseworthy are the status indicator light (running, clean) and the very quiet running. The baskets are well positioned and versatile. The controls are pretty simple but a little difficult to read for those with challenged eyesight. The silverware basket has lids to separate each item but nothing to keep them upright when not in use.

This is a really superior dishwasher with the quality of its manufacture and its features which include options to enable upper or lower tray washing and activation of special bottle washer jets. The slide out upper third rack which holds cutlery enables you to carry all the cutlery at once to the drawer without the need to bend over. The lighted interior additionally makes unloading the dishwasher especially easy. Truly, a great dishwasher.

Failed over and over again, out of warranty by less than a year, so 2-1/2 yrs old. Service extended by GE, but continued to fail, going from draining issue to electrical shorting out AFTER Bodewell GE service appointments replacing ALL the parts. So now GE will only offer us a "discount" on a new one.

Older dishwashers that required washing prior to loading, loud noise, and the mandated towel dry once the cycle was complete vs. GE Monogram which solved all those problems while being a statement piece in the kitchen. Looks great, washes great. Only complaint is that it is so well insulated that the insulation gets bunched up on install and pops the door counter spring. This makes the door drop suddenly and sounds like a gun went off inside.

Great dishwasher bad QC & Install Instructions

If you follow the install instructions you will be bloody and dissapointed. Do yourself a favor and connect the water linne to the unit before it is connected to the water supply. There is no room under this unit to work and all edges are so sharp that you will have bloody nuckles with dreep gashes so connect it whlit it is on the its back (after leg install) . If you follow all of the instructions , the last step is the soundproofing material. Unfortunatley what they don't tell you is that there is soundproofing material that needs to be installed on the back of the unit BEFORE it is installed. This may have been included after the instructions were made, I just left mine off since it was quiet anyway. After the unit was done I did the wet test , it passed and I let it run a load of dishes over night which was alo fine and then I hooked up the rest of the sound proofing and the toe kick ( the bolts for the toe cick should be longer ) We ran the dishwasher two days later and it had a "Leak Detected, Call service " message. I tested the unit and saw water drippng when the Jets started running in the unit. I uninstalled the unit to see what the problem was and eventually fiound that the 4 bolts on the top of the Tub which were never tightened ( see picture where one is shown.) The Insulation soaked up the water from the wet test and the first run and onlyh started dripping after it was saturated. I ran the machine with the insulation off and all 4 of these were GUSHING water. Tighten them with the same socket you use for the toe kick and all the water stops . So may want to make sure these are not loose before you install to save the hassle of reinstall or an actual service call. So far so good with the waher, it is working and looking great now.

Love the cleanliness of the cycles, however, the rack designs are not as good as the previous model we had. The middle rack for glasses is awful. If you have long-stem wine glasses, the top cutlery rack has to be removed and it's still awkward around the perimeter. The time frame for the cycles are also much longer than our previous Monogram dishwasher.
