I have been using this filter ever since we bought the refrigerator. I believe it makes the water taste better, thus it must be eliminating a lot of minerals/chemicals. You cannot be sure of your water supply these days, so I am very pleased to be able to use this.

This is about the fourth filter I have ordered for our GE Profile refrigerator. They always work as promised and that is all we want. I appreciate the e-mails indicating a lower price on filter and that is when I generally order one.
