This appliance replaces a similar 18 year old. We thought if we could get the same features with quality we've always had with G.E. Why change ?. Would give it five stars, but stove runs approximately 15-20 degrees cooler than two pretested and verified thermometers. One analog one digital. Still bakes, broiled to perfection if you know true stove readout it's not a problem.

I haven't had my range that long but so far my GE range is working good. I gave a four because of the short time I've had it and because you have to push the oven buttons kind of hard sometimes to get them to work. Will give update at a later date.

The stove is great but I would prefer the broiler to be in the oven and not in the bottom pull out. It limits the size pan you can use and harder to bend down to reach. Also when you use the oven, the clock disappears which is annoying. While the oven is preheating it does not show the temperature that the oven is preheating as it increases to the temperature you set it to. Just little things that my old GE oven from 18yrs ago had I liked better.

Bisque is a very hard color to find. GE is the only manufacturer that make a bisque gas range stove that is absolutely beautiful. The knobs are easy to read on this stove and the oven is completely touch operated. The stove itself is sooo gorgeous. I have a bisque fridge and it matches perfectly.

We bought the GE range because we were happy with our first range which we
had for 20 years.
This new range has a different design --- oven heat vent in the front just under the
burner knobs. So the burner knobs are hot to the touch and it is very uncomfortable

I didn't need a fancy stove with all the bells and whistles, just a nice basic stove just right for me. It actually had some nice features that my very old stove didn't have, like the buzzer alert when the oven finished preheating (and heated up fast) and the different size burners! And it came in the bisque color that matched my other appliances. Great price, works great and I couldn't be happier!

This stove is easy to use and works great. After years of using an ancient stove without some features like a clock or timer or oven light, I am thrilled to have all of those features now! It is easy to preheat and use the oven, and the stove burners do their job just fine.

Works well. Only thing is that when the oven is on, heat comes out of a vent on the top. It was so hot that the pot on the stove top got too hot to touch without pot holders. I will not enjoy baking in the summertime as it added much heat to the area. The rest of the stove is great! I did not see this info in the online description.

My 24-year-old gas stove had to be replaced; I didn't want anything fancy at all, and this was the closest I could find to what I wanted. The oven doesn't have a knob, but works via a touch-screen; not my favorite thing to do, but easy, once you get on to it. My only complaint is, is that if you lean over the stove, you could possibly turn the burner knobs on without lighting them, so that gas escapes. Just need to be careful to double-check that you haven't done that.
