The dishwasher is very quiet. It doesn't seem to hold as many dishes as my old one. The door opens very low to the ground. The rinse assist container could be improved for better ease of telling when it's full. I gave it a 4 star because it does clean well and has plenty of cleaning options.

This dishwasher is virtually soundless. I get first class results on the quick wash program (less than 1 hour) which I use all the time. Dries plastic better than any dishwasher I have used. More expensive than most but worth it.

The upgrades from my last model really do make a difference. The soap pod does seem to dissolve before exiting the soap dispenser so no more half dissolved pods still stuck in the soap dispenser when the load is done. Top or third rack is nice. However, I do have to wipe off silverware that I put up there as water doesn™™t seem to drain off as well. No big deal, they still come out shiny!

Wash cycle takes forever. It takes literally twice what my old Bosch used to. It also has to be on max boost for the dishes to be remotely dry. The tines on the middle rack are short, bowls and things have to lay down so it doesn™™t hold as much. I do like the third rack for utensils though.

We really like fridgidaire. We have switched almost our appliances to it. So far we are extremely pleased with everything. We just put the dishwasher in a week ago and am very pleased. I am able to put quite a few dishes in it and they have come out very clean.

QUIET??? NOT QUIET!!! I have 2 model PDSH4816AF dishwashers that both make loud clicking sounds I've never heard in any other model and make dishwashers I have owned. You hear it numerous times about 20-30 minutes into the wash cycle. At least 5 annoying minutes. They are under warranty and the repairman determined the sounds are coming from the soap and rinse aid dispensers. He thought they were too loud and too frequent but he called the help desk and was told this was NORMAL. These are advertised as "quiet" and they are anything but. I'd call it ABBYNORMAL. If not for this persistent LOUD clicking I would say this model was pretty quiet.

I love Frigidaire appliances. I bought this model to replace a Frigidaire Gallery that I had for 11 years. I loved the fact that I could choose between three wash pressures and three water temperatures. When looking for a new dishwasher, I realized that those features had largely been removed. I decided on this Frigidaire Professional model as the rack layout was most similar to my old dishwasher and was supposed to be quieter. I love the style and look of this dishwasher, the upgraded utensil rack and drying performance. I have been disappointed, however, with top rack cleaning performance. The silverware comes out of the utensil basket with food stuck all over that is now dried on. Glassware on the top rack has white residue and food particles all over. I have tried different cycles (Heavy, Normal, Delicate) and detergents. I checked to make sure the incoming water temperature was hot enough (~130 degrees at the tap). It is almost as though there is not enough water or wash pressure coming out of the very top spray arm. To spend this much money on a dishwasher you expect much better cleaning results.

The rollers when pulling the bottom tray gets out of the path easily. Can be better designed. The Cutlery holder handle hits the washer side, when the bottom tray is pushed inside. This prevents the bottom tray from going inside the washer smoothly.

I just got the Frigidaire 24" Stainless Steel Tub Built-In Dishwasher with CleanBoost™ yesterday and right away I can tell it is a big upgrade from my old one. The stainless steel tub looks great and feels sturdy, and the whole machine runs so quietly that I have to double-check it is even on.The CleanBoost™ feature really impressed me on the first run. Everything came out spotless without needing to pre-scrub. Glasses were crystal clear, and even plastic containers came out dry enough to put away.I also like how simple the controls are. This dishwasher is so quiet. If it were not for the illuminated floor indicator light, we would not be able to tell that it is even running. The light turns blue to white once complete. Also the third rack for flatware is a nice addition. We also use this section for cutting knives. Overall, this is a very nice addition to our kitchen.
